As we enter Women’s History Month–a month honoring and celebrating the contributions women have made throughout history in support of equity, human rights, social justice, and ensuring that a diversity of voices and backgrounds are included when important decisions are being made–the Matriots Education Fund is celebrating BOLDNESS!
This year there is a lot coming at us and it feels as though much of the progress that has been made by women is slowly eroding away and that our rights are under attack. As women, we have faced adversity before. We will use the inspiration, strength, and guidance of powerful women who have led by example. Women who have not only called attention to problems within our society, but who were also BRAVE enough to hope for change and BOLD enough to ACT.
Throughout March we’ll share stories of women who have called attention to societal issues and have used their voice, their presence, and their influence to prompt change. We invite YOU to join us by adding your voice to the conversation.
